Description:
EVPÚ a.s. performs in its testing laboratories tests for protection against solid foreign objects (for ratings IP1X to IP6X code), tests for protection against water (for ratings IPX1 to IPX7 code)
Tests for protection against solid foreign objects (for ratings IP1X to IP6X):
- rigid sphere without handle or guard (for rating IP1X and IP2X)
- rigid steel rod (for rating IP3X);
- rigid steel wire (for rating IP4X);
- Dust in dust chamber without and with underpressure (for rating IP5X);
- Dust in dust chamber with underpressure (for rating IP6X)
Main instrumentation:
- Dust chamber, dust used: talc <50 µm, concentration: 2 kg/m3;
Workspace size:
- Dust chamber dimensions (LxWxH): 250 x 200 x 250 cm
Tests for protection against water (for ratings IPX1 to IPX7) in wet laboratory in accordance with the standard STN EN 60529+A1:
- dripping water (for rating IPX1 and IPX2);
- splashing water (for rating IPX3 and IPX4);
- jetting water (for rating IPX5 a IPX6);
- immersion (for rating IPX7).
